IMI GDM WS24 - Code Exercise 1: Patterns

I'm borrowing from old GDM exercises and some of my own of the IMI tutorium to make you code different patterns and color gradient filling found in image editing software - essentially explaining the ideas behind it all. You do the code.
In this you do a black-white horizontal gradient, a color gradient in two directions at once, a checkerboard pattern and the flag of the Seychelles. I also tried to explain some pattern recognition, weird math "magic", value relations and color overflow.
